ELLIOT LAKE - Ontario’s ombudsman scolds City of Elliot Lake over what defines a council meeting.
“The ombudsman stated there was no public notice of meeting , there were no members of the public present at the meeting. Therefore the meeting cannot be considered an open meeting under the Municipal Act.”
